Even long-established sellers are not safe from eBay's current enforcement wave. In a Warrior Forum thread this week, a top-rated US seller with around $50,000 in annual eBay sales reported receiving an email saying their account was suspended indefinitely.
The seller says a phone representative told them the suspension was for undisclosed "suspicious activity" and that there was no appeal process — "sorry, good luck and goodbye." The seller added that eBay had been randomly limiting their accounts for six months before the final shutdown, and believes the marketplace is deliberately removing mid-size sellers.
The case is a warning for established accounts too: unexplained limits or "suspicious activity" flags should be treated as an early alarm. Diversifying sales channels and keeping payout information current can reduce the damage if an account is lost.
